Buffy/Angel comics?

Not for me, for me girlfriend [who's threatening to join up when we got the 'net in our house]... I've heard loads of them are just adaptations of the TV show... is there much original stuff? and is it worth her, as someone who loves the TV show, picking any of it up?

Also, is Fray any good?

Actually its (or was, been a few years since I read it) mostly original. What I read of Fray wasn't bad if you're a fan of buffy/angel.

I have scans of 40 something issues of Dark Horse's Buffy on my HD. I've run through 2 or 3 first issues, and it does seem like a different thing from TV series (I've seen first Season and two eps of second, and none of those comics are based on any of those eps).

If your gf likes the series she might try it.

When she joins the board, does this mean you'll have to behave and be nice for people?
