I think it was a really sad story, but the fact that it drug on for 8 months didn't help it.

There are soldiers dying in Iraq and Afghanistan and that gets frontpage attention.

That gets a minor mention, not a front page.

ouch.

that's true that no one is a front page story that died in Iraq and Afghanistan, but it was a huge media created story.

so we all had no choice but to watch.

caring was a different option. and i particularly didn't, but my girlfriend cried while we watched the preakness, when he did go lame.

and her mom called her crying.

so some people did care.....
