After watching Season 1, I've come to the conclusion that this just rocks. When you start the show at face value, it is more comedy than anything else. As the show progresses, we see the true purpose of "Earthlings" and it goes in a darker path, but still retains a lot of funny bits. Cel Animation was blended together well with CGI, which presented an incredible viewing experience when the battles occured.
Just need to get Season 2...yessssssssssssssssss

What is really cool about Vandread is the fact that the opening for every episode is different. So it feels like a fresh Music Video with every episode.
Oh yea, the opening song to S1 rocked.
