Universe Leo Prime in Lio Convoy colors

Post by Civ »
TFW2005's member, chinaseller, has posted images of a repaint of the Universe Leo Prime/Cybertron Leobreaker figure that possesses a color scheme similar to that of Lio Convoy from the Beast Wars II line. At this time, no confirmation of this figure has been announced from Hasbro. Therefore, it is unknown when this figure will be released and under what line it will be marketed under. In the meantime, check out the images by clicking on the thumbnail to the left.
Well, it's not a custom. Unless it's custom-cast in those plastic colors.

That is a really snazzy looking figure. Which is, you know, odd seeing as it's mostly white.

Why? Leo Breaker is a terrible toy.

The original Lio Convoy or even the mostly superior Robot Masters version would do you better.

I used to own Nemesis Breaker, and yes it is a terrible toy. But I love the character of Lio Convoy, and if I could afford either the original or the RM one...well I get one! But this one looks pretty cool to me, and it would be something I could actually afford if I put back some cash.

Hey, the articulation is the pits in robot mode; however, I am enjoying the colors of it.

Update: More Pictures have surfaced.

Post by Civ »

TFW2005's TM2 D-bot is reporting that new images have surfaced of what looks to be a Lio Convoy. Two of the images were taken from an ebay auction. The article reports it as a "Universe 3.0"; however, I have not heard of any confirmation that there will be a line with such a name. Anyway, onto the mirrors...

That's just a we-don't-know-the-venue-for-this-toy-and-Hasbro-said-they-were-looking-into-continuing-Universe-after-ROTF-so-we-just-tack-a-made-up-name-onto-it thing.

Looks like it's official. Found this at another site today, and it'll be a Target exclusive...

Cool, and they are apparently basing the character off of the IDW comics according to that bio

I'm fairly sure they did the legends class figure in those colours? It was quite nice, as I recall

Awesome, I waited for this!

Now I'll finally buy it.
No longer looking for RID Dreadwind, but I still need Smokejumper. I'm also in need of Mammoth Nemesis Prime's tail piece, as my figure lacks it. Send me a PM.

Original BWNeo Lio Convoy FTW! Well, that's too pretty good, but still only Leobreaker repaint. I just ordered this Leo from BBTS. Pretty expensive... 33$+shippung rates (total price (€) was about 40€)... Ungh. It's hard to be a finnish Transformers fan.

Lio Convoy was sold out :(

Someday I will find him too...

I'm waiting for them to go on clearance, it seems inevitable that all Target exclusives hit clearance relatively soon within it's shelf life. They have already moved them all to the back end cap at my Target, that is the first sign.....

I just picked him up at Target for $13.98. 30% off isn't bad. They had a ton left too; I might go back later and check it again.

Still not cheap enough for me, that mold isn't that great. I love the character that is being homaged, and the color scheme, but that mold isn't the best in the world. I'd pay like $9 for it maybe.
