Wow.... I'm surprised that even flies for compliance in the toy regulations! I imagine a US release will be much more "true" to the spirit of the regulation. Does make me consider though...
Has there ever been a reissue of Shockwave? If so I'd love to have both and go cosplaying as Starscream or Soundwave dual wielding the bastards! Though its not a bad idea just going with Megs

It's just a freaking plug! AND, it looks like it is removeable as well! What on earth is going on? All this worry, all this debate, all this pain and anguish... over a removeable yellow plug?
It's as if collector's have the ability to made their toys 'law regulated' at their own pleasure. I can just imagine US collectors now, spotting a cop out the window:
"Quick! Get the plug, the Police are here!"
As stated before, what an anti-climax

Well. As I read a few minutes later there is going to be 6" die cast Shockwave by Hasbro. If it is a alien gun Shockwave, I never kept up on who got to converted to what in new stuff, likely a bit on the small size.
Agreed this is just a nods to regulations to get things in and not really worry about it. FIgures the more fuss we put up about something the less impacting it is.

Bathos...
After all that fuss - that's it? Interesting that customs would open the box to check the yellow er... cap is in place, so earning their keep and getting that feelgood factor at having identified the item as not a rogue robot gun-changer.
Perhaps, somewhere, someone is going he-he-he-he and presenting his bow-fingers to the authorities.
