Bound to happen sooner or later. Can't say I'm surprised, but I won't get into any biased anti-website hate.

Still, pretty harsh.
I replied
You know what- I don't take kindly to you or your comments.
You keep spinning it anyway you want. It's kinda like the answer "I refunded everyone I scammed 5 years ago."
Sorry, I opt out. You are a douche.

Please, one of you, contact one of the other fansites- I will do the same interview with one of them.
Any chance we might be able to wrangle that?

Man, I loved that dig at the Seibertron store. That'll never get old.

Still not enough to entice me to see this design horror.

FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!

`
Considering Siebertrons... errr... occasionally dodgy reputation I do wonder why Don agreed to an interview there in the first place...

This is my favorite post in the thread:
You guys decided that you were gonna throw 20+ years of tradition, mythos and franchise out the window to make what you thought would earn you the most profit and fill the most seats.
So the poster's effectively saying they shouldn't be doing what they think will make the film most succesful then?

As much as I don't want to play Devil's Advocate here, I want Ryan to spew here even LESS.

Though the fact that the whole seibertron store debacle has filtered through even to hollywood IS frighteningly funny

I'll go see the movie out of morbid curiosity, hell I found the good in Beast Machines first time round & enjoyed (sort of) Armada/Energon/Cybertron for what they were. So they're horrible designs, what the hell.

You know what? Ask anyways. Maybe he will give two interviews. It's not like all answers will be given in one interview. They will miss questions and such.

Ryan might want to put his messiah complex to one side... I mean, his site, like most TF sites, is a walking copyright violation, and Don probably liases with Hasbro...

Okay, I've not read the thread because... well... I don't go to either place, but just reading what Dalek quoted...
20+ years of tradition, mythos and franchise
I'd really like to see the maths on that.

This movie's no more heresy than BW, RiD, Armada or anything else.

Show me 20 years of consistent mythos... the only "tradition" that's been consistent is two factions of shapeshifting alien robots. And that's present.

And how can you throw away 20+ years of franchise? It's a brand name for crying out loud... it's like saying that Coke Zero is throwing away however many years of Coca Cola franchise. It makes no sense, dammit!

There are respected Transformers websites, official or otherwise?

Fans attach themselves to one or more, but it's a judgement by a closed population largely of itself.

Hasbro appears to be particularly attached toTFW2005 (seeing as Aaron Archer even used to post there as "Orson"), but then, other people (such as the wiigiis) don't especially like Bacala's site.

Some Hasbro-associated folks (such as Kyde) prefer posting at the Allspark, but the site (especially the administration) is subject to some heavy critique as well.
