Ed the Sock RULES!!!

Now let's do our own version of "Smash, or Trash?"

see a video and then voice your opinion of it with "Smash!" (good) or "Trash!" (bad). Heck it doesn't even have to be a music video. Anything will do--TV show episodes, songs on the radio...

Let's start out with Britney Spears' "Oops I did it again"

Smash or Trash?

TRASH!!!

"why?"
"Because she can't sing."

see how easy that is? :D
"This appears to be a copy of Final Fantasy, which is a step up from a copy of Pearl Jam"-Ed the Sock, on Fromage 2002, about one of Creed's videos--"Bullets".

"here we are now, entertain us..."

"Oh THOSE are the words? These lyrics stink after all!"-Mad Magazine.

It sounds better if you dont' understand them. And that's pretty easy.

Smash: Weird Al's "Smells like Nirvana"

"Why?"
"We're a ROCK BAND, from SE-A-TLE! Well it suuuuuure beeeeats....RAISIN' CATTLE!" duh-duh-da-da-da-da...MOOOO!
:D

Well, yes...if you're stone deaf, wouldn't listen anyway, and slept through the 90s...

Smash: The Crocketts — "Will You Still Care?", especially live.

... And this looks like fun... :D

Spears' video: Trash. Reason: It's hilarious to watch, and the song is catchy, buuuut that whole acting innocent thing's garbage, and I can't stand it.

Nirvana: ACtually never saw the vid... song's okay, though, If I remember correctly... it's been awhile...

Wierd AL: Again, never saw it... and I don't think I've heard it...

Crocketts: Never heard this one, either... ack, ack...

Mine? Smash: No Doubt's "Hella Good". It just kicks so much ass... I've been getting into No Doubt lately, pretty good... also "Hey Baby". It's just so... fun! :D

Trash: Andrew WK's [can't remeber song title]... Is it just me, or does this sound exactly like "She's So Beautiful"?
This is my signature. My wasted space. My little corner. You can't have it. It's mine. I can write whatever I want. And I have!

Trash: No Doubt - Hella Good Two things. 1) Gwen does not look as hot as normal 2) Sellouts, all I have to say

Smash- Any Tool video.
Why? Why, you ask?
Simply put, no one and I mean no one can touch the visual strength that is put int those videos.
Disturbing? Hell yeah. That's why I like it.:D

Man Ed the Sock is vicious

Post by Transfan »

I think it was Much Music's Fromage 2001 Ed the Sock said in a quote

"What's the difference between the American Popstars Eden's Crush and the Canadian Popstars Sugar Jones?"

The Sock replies

"The American Popstars look like women"

He also said

"In Sugar Jones you have something for all tastes. You have the brunette, the sassy red head, the milano, the black girl and the androgenous one to appeal to both sexes"

He was refering to Julie when he said the "androgenous one"
When I heard that I was howling with laughter

They're fairly small even in the UK...however, the chorus runs "Will you still care for me? No no no no...I don't ****ing think so!" and Davey managed to hit the roof of the Wolverhamption Civic Hall with his guitar...fortuitously enough, it's the only MP3 provided by their site:
