Brawn was shot in the upper part of his chest. It looked so close to his arm. I viewed that scene several times in slow motion.

In fact, as Brawn is a alien who's physiology is different to that of a human, he was shot in the groin.

Was the a sly reference to Star Trek VI there inflatable dalek?
For those of you that hasn't seen Star Trek VI The Undiscovered Country, there is a scene featuring Captain Kirk and Dr McCoy in a klingon prison, where Kirk get's into a fight with a tall alien, Kirk kicks the alien in the knee, which causes the alien to fall over. Kirk is then told that not everyone keeps the genitals in the same place, so Kirk just kicked the alien in the family jewels:laugh:

According to Hirofumi Ichikawa, Brawn died in the original (i.e. non-Ravage influenced) timeline of TF:TM.

You needed slow-mo? I have the VHS and I could see it clearly. So what's this got to do with anything?

It's irrelevent because it's wrong.

Like it matters where he got shot.

He's dead, that's the whole point of that scene, to kill all of those characters.

Brawn's toy was discontinued so he got aced.

Why Brawn, I gotta ask? What is it about this relatively unremarkable character that compels people to irrationality? Why aren't people insisting rthat Prowl is alive? Or Ratchet?

Brawn? I just don't get it...

Because Brawn was built up as this hard case can-take-anything kinda bot. Some people can't accept that a (relatively) point blank shot from Megatron's alt mode could kill him.

So him turning around, getting up and running out into the middle of the ship, getting blasted through-and-through and falling down dead is all a little glitch caused by somebody messing up on an animation cel?

Apparently some people can't accept the fact that Brawn's been dead for 20 whole years.

If he was still alive he'd get up for a rematch just like Ironhide. If he was still alive he wouldn't be when the Decepticons got to the Autobot base and the shuttle was blown on air then crashed to the ground.

Let Brawn rest in piece, people.
