Meister proto gallery (pics currently available, maybe not for long)

Post by Nevermore »

Okay... Jon aka Vector_Sigma from 2005Boards got his hands on one of those Alt Meister protos. The gallery was taken offline for bandwith reasons, but I still managed to get all pics. So...

The mold looks awesome.

- Detailed interior, NO "opaqe windows -> blocky interior".
- Back seats > SmokeStreak.
- The gun is stored under the rear bumper in vehicle mode.
- Steering mechanism is using small connector pins instead of magnets.
- Hood opens. Engine under it, although only vaguely detailled. Might still be changed for finished version.
- Transformation is very similar to SmokeStreak, except that the feet turn around 180 degrees instead of the waist.
- Head virtually screams Jazz/Meister.
- At least in the prototype version, the visor can be removed.
- In robot mode the same size as SmokeStreak.

All in all, a mold that might very well be superior to the Smokescreen/Silverstreak one. Which is very good, given all those asine fanboy coplaints about it being "basically the same transformation, only with new parts".

EDIT: Okay... it's currently back available. See here for links:

amazing
simply amazing prototype i want one NOW
or at least as soon as possible if this is just the prototype mold
i cant wait to see the finished product
is the car mode a vauxhaul ?

the transformation is indeed almost identical to smokescreen and silverstreak but who cares ? the orginal G1 versions had that too and in my opinion it makes it just better
its an direct link towards G1 ( and i know that transformation at least )

and dark optimus what the **** are you complaining about ?
thats the same whining fanboys have about masterpiece convoys removabel mouthplate instead of being thankfull they complain its there you dont have to remove it

and the visor is just in prototype stage this is a meistar prototype hasbro has nothing to do with it this is takara's work
personally i think modeling meistar's\jazz's face witha removable visor even in proto stage is an awesome detail to include since he could swing his visor up in the comic as well
and if you cut your self you wil think you are happy

come as you are as you were as i want you to be come doused in mud soaked in bleach come as a friend as a known enemy

Take some super glue. Glue the visor into place. "Problem" solved. [/snark]

(Quotation marks because I like the removable visor.)

No, this it the Mazda RX-8 Transformer.
hasbro has nothing to do with it this is takara's work

According to DevilZFan from Iaconhub, the Alternators are to a great extent the "baby" of Aaron Archer.

shows how much i know current cars ouch

but this is a meistar prototype and that screams takara and even if it is mostly hasbro's work so what ?
the removable visor is an awesome touch
the transformationis identical to smokescreen and he retains his own individual self
and what do the fanboys do ? whine about a ****ing removable visor instead of being happy hasbro\takara actually took the time to give jazz a detailed face they whine about it

and if they dont like it i suggest they follow arcee's suggestion
and if you cut your self you wil think you are happy

i wasnt wining dudem i was just moreso commenting i dont mind it THAT much and if i sounded like a fanboy i truly did not mean to and am greatly embarresed that i have if i were a fanboy i would probably have about fifteen other complaints too, but im very content with the toy and will most definatly be ge4tting him removable visor or not, and especially now that i have though about it (with help form other posts), removable visor, good thing

oh alright
you just reminded me of typical hasbro hating fan boy whinin
and that annoys me to say the least because a company takes great car efor once to include an very obviously amzing detail the face is modeld on its own and jazz has a removable visor
and i bet fanboys wilwhine about it
there is no pleasing some people

but yeah if you were a fanboy you would be complaining al the way and not even rectifying your self
the above posts are just directed at fanboys in general
and if you cut your self you wil think you are happy
