Hunter X Hunter is a japanese anime, a few years old now.

I was wondering if anyone has seen it - there were 78 Episodes in all (62 normal, OVA 1 had 8 episodes, and OVA 2 had another 8), they were never translated to english, so I have simply watched the english subs.

It wasnt that great at the begining, but it steadily got better (both the animation and the storyline). By the last 40 episodes it was great.

One of the main characters was trained from birth to endure pain and to be an assassin, another is a kid who has a lot of determination and doesnt judge people, but the most important by far is Kurapica, who has dedicated his life to wiping out an elite mercenary group which killed off his tribe, since their eyes turn red when they are enraged, and are considered valuable items.

Sounds like ****.

Currently watching RahXephon, another Evangelion clone, so its pretty bad. The only thing going for it is the opening theme. Im only on ep 10 of 26 so I got some more suffering to go through. Then its on to Key The Metal Idol.
