Robot mode looks quite nice. Shame about the decals on the us version, and the car mode. This would definitely stay in robot mode, were I to get it. Maybe they'll do a repaint in other nice colors. Maybe I should search for the us robot mode to see if the decals ruin the robot mode . . .

EDIT: Hmmm . . . http://www.hasbro.com/common/images/pro ... f_A400.jpg

Yeap. Ruined. :(

I dunno...

At first, my reaction to the little box/car Scions was of utter disgust too. Since then, I've seen a couple of them zipping around campus, and one of them was actually considerate enough to obey the traffic laws and stop for me at the crosswalk. Because of those reasons, I've grown to tolerate them.

I won't say that I'm in love with them, but I think it works fine for the toy.

Japanese Skids looks sharp. American Skids looks fugly. It really is surprising what a colour palette does to elevate or sink a mould.

What about the fact that the alt mode is just ugly. Americans haven't got a clue when it comes to design or aero dyenamics hence ALT convoy is a pile of US bull****.

You're just jealous because he's got bigger tits than you.

Yes, that would be wittier if you were a chick, but I takes what opportunities I gets...

from Japanese TF Imageboard:

seems like both Skids as Broadblast come with a stickersheet, including the flames

The hasbro Skids appears to be a ba photo where color is concerned and propably is if fact the same color. Speaking as an art major specializing in color theory. But it could also be that I am colorblind.

Think I just twigged where Skids colour scheme inspiration comes from. Was in our local Tesco's when I saw a Scion with Flame decals. On closer inspection it is a tie in with an MTV programme called "Pimp My Ride". So looks like Skids got hisself pimped!!!!!!
