New magazine scans with lots of background bits from FantoFan

The most interesting parts:

Robotmasters:
PsychoOrb's weapon can combine with the other Destrons' weapons to become "Arsenal-Force ".
Judging by the pics, RM Convoy will be eben smaller than G1 Prime! comparison pic courtesy of 2005 Boards' butz
Background story: RM is set in the G1 (cartoon)/BW universe, more precisely between season 2 and TF: TM. This causes some overlap with Binaltech, which is ALSO set after season 2. And, as everyone knows, Micron Legend/Armada and Superlink/Energon are an entirely different universe.
In short:
G1 -> RM -> TF:TM -> BW
G1 -> BT
ML -> SL

Binaltech: Origin of the Binaltech Decepticons!
Apparently, Starscream struck a deal with Dr. Archeville (yay!), they slipped a spy into EDC, stole the BT technology and upgraded their own guys with it.
Dead End is due out mid-July.

Superlink:
New releases: Overdrive,
Wheeljack, Sprang, Dinobot Magma type, USA edition Strongarm (TF station limited item), Unicron (black version, limited to 3000 items) Play-kit series 02 Grand Scourge, and in August USA edition Tow-Line (TRU Japan exclusive).

There's also some spoilers about future Superlink/Energon episodes. Check the above link if you want to get spoiled.
Looking for a complete Energon Sky Shadow (from Superion Maximus).
Offering: Binaltech Hound, Swindle, Ravage (Corvette), Skids.
Can buy in stores: Robot Heroes Tigatron/Inferno, Ricochet/Predaking.

Interesting. Not only is Robotmasters going to have a story, but they're trying to fit into the original TF cartoon continuity.

Is it just me or does the Dinobot Magma Type look nothing like the Cruellock repaint Hasbro's releasing? That's odd since Hasbro's Command Ravage looks just like Command Jaguar Desert Type.

Of Robotmasters: there is also a short comic strip (not completed yet) and a TV advert available on Takara´s site. Notable is that it´s Convoy (as a truck) vs. Megatron (as T-Rex) and they are about the same size.

And since Convoy's just slightly taller than Strongarm, it looks like so far this line is all basic-sized toys. Which is nice because it will be easier on my wallet. Shame Convoy's truck mode still looks funny.

Also of note, in the 2nd page of the comic on Takara's site, Convoy is shooting gangsta style. :smokin:
