The "Frenzy" one is all-new, I think. The others we've seen enough of in toys to know roughly what the finished result will be like.

Frenzy is just bad.... it's the Christmas Robot from Aqua Teen Hunger Force.
The bunnies, they give me knowledge it is neat.

Did I miss out on a Bonecrusher toy being posted somewhere?

Frenzy looks like General Greivous on a radical diet...

Pity Bonecrusher is out of focus, as I'd like to see him clearer than ramming through a bus in the trailer...

New sale thread added with a range of Transformers including Masterpiece, Botcon, CHUG, RID, Movies etc.

Looking for MP-11T Thundercracker and MP-9 Rodimus v2 (Takara version with as few QC issues as possible).

Check out my new sale thread now!

Also items on eBay.

Finally, a look at Bonecrusher! Definitely in the same camp as most of the other Movie Decepticons.
edit: and after seeing him, I now know which bot it was charging into the bus as seen in the recent trailer.

That's just the kind of actor he is. Kind of like Christian Bale in "The Machinist".

It is nice to see that he's getting work, though. Although it's a shame that Hollywood may be type-casting him. He was in an off-off-Broadway performance of "Capote" and he was simply brilliant... really an amazing range this guy's got and it would be nice to see him in other roles besides the creepy villain.

Frenzy is awesome. It'll be a terrible toy, but that hideous thing is going to be great in motion on screen.

Bonecrusher looks groovy too. Better focus would have been nice.

I recall seeing robot Bonecrusher in some form or other before, but might not have been a toy.

I also remember seeing bonecrusher's vehicle mode before. At the time though, I thought the vehicle was too awesome to be a real one.

I can't wrap my head around Starscreams robot mode, i mean he is a jet and a jet should be sleek and i think his robot mode should reflect that.

This thread showed images of a prototype of Wreckage, which Nevermore was questioning as to whether or not it was Bonecrusher. That might be what you're thinking about.

He'd be several times the size of Prime unless compressed vertically.

Even being compressed vertically, he still dwarfs Optimus, if not in height at least in girth.

So does Brawl (although he's shorter) and Megatron. And from the looks of Bonecrusher, he might be taller, too. I guess that's just the nature of the beast when the Decepticons all have military and heavy hardware alt modes...they're just going to be bigger than cars and trucks.

(also, I notice the bunny ears on Jazz, and this is a pretty old thread...so that design aspect has been around for a while)

I'm just very disappointed on the faces of all these bots.

I mean, I understand that they want them to look menacing and alien, but I feel their faces are more a cop out because they would require the most CGI investment.

If I recall, none of the bots thus far has a real mouth. Practically speaking, that actually makes sense. But from a "capturing the younger audience" angle, it might be hard to develop a fondness for them.

Frenzy will give me nightmares...and I rather like the solid, bulky look of Ironhide and Bonecrusher. Starscream's a bit flabby-looking, though.

Now I know what happens if you breed wire coathangers - Frenzy! One the plus side, you'd have to be a sharp shot to actually hit the guy. On the bad side, I really think that the designers should have taken more care not to include a natural size 0 as that kind of model is being banned right across Europe at present! :D

Whole-heartedly agree about the potential for the 'Cons to be larger than the Autobots, but I guess that won't be the case. If you'll excuse the pun, it would result in a short war for the Autobots and a short movie to go with it. In fact, there wouldn't be a movie because the war would've been won by Megs about four million Earth years ago.

And, again, Screamer is far, far too bulky for a beautiful, sleek, dangerous jet. I know he's a bit of a thug, but he prides himself on refinement and good looks. Oh, is that part of the joke? Or are these 'new' characters with new characters to match? Y'know - "Me Starscream. Me badass."

Screamer is a victim of the lack of mass shifting: that is how big a jet is, and to prevent head and limbs from lacking ridiculous from a lack of proportions.
