Ravage remind anyone else of those really retarded Monster Rock Lord things? Or that odd Matchbox line? Or a 1:24 car on stilts? I mean, way to build bridges with Ford, lads. If I see him cheap, I'll buy him, just so I can always have something that'll make me laugh.

You think after all the flame wars I've waded through (and won), "Hush already" will stop me?!?!?!?!

Well, it will. Congratulations, you've found my secret weakness :(

I tried this just now with my own Battle Ravage. Couldn't figure out how they got the missles like that. Is there a walkthru posted somewhere?

It's funny...I actually like it better like that, than the humanoid jaguar head thing.

I'll definitely be picking this one up!

Rumble, OTOH, I'm not sure about. Probably I'll get him, as I have at least one of every mold.

The Ravage and Rumble listings have disappeared from the BBTS site.

According to there Customer care this normally happens when Hasbro ask them to take them down till further notice.

will have to await further infor/developments.

They're actually still up for preorder - the pages just aren't listed on the site or through the site search. You can get to them through the advertisement banners running here, though.

EDIT: well, shut my mouth... I can't get the banner to come up.

My preorders aren't cancelled, though. Weird. And I've just now realized that I should order a second Rumble to paint into Frenzy, but I can't at the moment. Bah.

I have trouble deducing if that's sarcasm or not. :o

As I can't bother to look for all your messages about this mold in other threads (sorry, being lazy)... Seriously what's so wrong with this mold?

Idea (car <-> cat)? For me it's about as believable and "realistic" as car <-> humanoid robot. Animal mode gives the character possibility for more flexible movement and it's clear that this kind of would have some kind plugs for interfacing with computers etc. (like Rattrap's tail in Beast Machines for example). Though I must confess that car being so... flashy doesn't fit Ravage's character (spy -> would require stealth).

Perhaps it's just me being a pro-animal mode when it comes to Transformers, but I think it looks rather good from the front side. Not that good from the back, but that's not really that exceptional.

Or could the reason be Ravage having a tremendous amount of kibble in animal mode?

If it was really the secret weakness that stops him posting, he wouldn't have been able to post saying that it was. :(

Aye. There's no rule that says bipedal humanoid has to be the standard mode. It's only because it's our physiology that the bulk of them are like this. If dolphins created Transformers, I dare say most of them would look like dolphins in "non alt" mode.

But we know that's impossible because dolphins aren't even smart enough to build hospitals.

You seem to have that problem a lot.

Not that I'm holding it against you. I have the same problem. Sarcasm doesn't translate so well in text. :\

Nice job, ignoring the latter part of my post. :glance:

Gah, I'm not gonna go through this again, so I'll just say that I'm sorry if I offended. :(

People under twenty aren't going to understand why it doesn't have hands, are they?

Hell, some people over 20 aren't going to understand it.

Gutting his hands for a secondary, not primary feature is rather stupid, but it's not my place to design them...so....

Aww... look... There's Rumble peering out of the back seat through the rear window!

:)

Seriously - he doesn't look as bad as I'd though from stock photos, but, erm, I'm yet to be convinced. The piledrivers are a plus for me, though (but are maybe not sensible for a wider audience...). Pity the doors are flopped backwards like that - to me it would look a little nicer turned with the red on the outside, matching the rest of the design.

Ravage is still a must though!
