woohoo! He's finally been released in Australia!! and me being me, ran out & grabbed one today.... what an absolutely kickass fig! (and rather heavy too...).. my only (and minor) gripes would be that he's a slight bit top-heavy... the small stacks look alright, despite the fact the box pictures show him with long smoke stacks.. but the point is - Who cares?? This thing is absolutely awesome & worth grabbing..

not sure about the $au145 price tag tho :/

The Hasbro version is also the gray/blue highlight ion blaster. It's also die-cast. The only differences (that I could see) were the battle damage and the shortened stacks.

Wait a sec. The blaster is made out of die-cast metal? Damn, they one-upped Takara if that's true then since the blaster I have is all plastic.

ditto - my blaster is plastic.... a die-cast gun would be cool, but wouldn't it be too heavy for him to hold & lead to stuffed/weakened joints?

and battle damage? you referring to the darkened bits parts of his torso? If not, then I must've managed to avoid getting one with the damage on it...
