This is pretty cool looking. Considerably better than the previous figure of Ironhide we've seen. The huge tailpipe-guns on his arms are a little much, but still rad looking.

If I remember right this is quite possibly the first pics posted (that I've found) that has him properly transformed. Other pics have had the hood of the car still connected as the front of his chest, but now he has real shoulders and looks AMAZING! I am very excited for this now, as opposed to slightly excited not knowing how he really looked judging from previous sources.

The heads, for the most part, just aren't growing on me.

But that's a nice-looking toy, in BOTH modes. The list of ones I'll be picking up are definitely growing.

Looks spiffy from where I'm sitting. Though I do hope he doesn't accidentally blow up his rear tires when he hits a speed bump. ;)

Yeah I know what you mean about the heads. Some of these figures look great, Blackout and Ironhide especially, but the heads just look odd. Maybe they'll grow on me.

Well, what do you know - this one actually has hands/fists. I really like this one, though the mold does gives me a slight Binal/Alt vibe. Has a good level of detail and articulation by the looks of things. Looks as if the "Voyager Class" figures will be the winners for the Movie toyline, overall I was fairly impressed with Ratchet, Blackout, the voyager version of Prime (the prototype we saw not to long ago), and now Ironhide.

That's one bad, big nice head sculpt he has. Not really crazy about the somewhat deformed vehicle, but I'm really liking what I'm seeing in robot mode.

Excluding the 08 Camaro BB, I'm guessing we've seen all 5 movie Autobots in their respective size classes. One of the best looking teams in tf toys.
Few stuff in the UK to trade/sell. Measly sales thread.

I'm seriously considering buying some broken G2, RID, Armada Trilogy toys JUST to replace the heads on these movie figures. They're seriously a deal breaker for me.. ugh. Pity, 'cause there's some real innovation in them otherwise.

Not bad. But somehow it reminds me of oeoetoy's roadbots.

They even have Murcielago now...

At last! Been really looking forward to Ironhide, given my penchant for pick-ups, and how much I've loved the other toy designs we've seen so far!

And he doe snot disappoint!

I'm gonna be hard pressed to decide which of the Movie line I can afford to pick up - but Voyager Ironhide will surely be among them!

:)

New sale thread added with a range of Transformers including Masterpiece, Botcon, CHUG, RID, Movies etc.

Looking for MP-11T Thundercracker and MP-9 Rodimus v2 (Takara version with as few QC issues as possible).

Check out my new sale thread now!

Also items on eBay.

they also have them on bigbadtoystore, i posted about them awhikle back ^^. I might buy these and replace the heads also. i am kinda curious if alt. skids' head would look good on ironhide's body, and be able to work. and now that i see this, why wasn't this toy alternator/binaltech prime!? the legs are awesome on this one, opposed to the alt/binal . hasbro... u make kitty scared lol.

Ironhide the Minotaur. I hope the engine/guns are a case of mistransformation though.

This is so much better than Alternators Nemesis/Optimus Prime it hurts.

But, looking at his head on the cover of the package...that looks nothing like the head of the robot everyone was claiming was Ironhide in the trailer (not to mention, his eyes are blue here and that robot had red eyes in the trailer).

Thoughts?

Are you talking about the one that crawls out of the swimming pool? I only noticed two other red-eyed bots in the trailer, and they look like Barricade and Blackout.

how is he a minotaur? i dont see any qualities, other than the head that could mildly suggest that. bumble bee from g1 was more minotaur-esque with the little viking horns on his helmet than this guy is. the head shot looks like he is wearing an armored crown more or less...

Maybe it's hip new street slang that the kids use.

Minotaur = half bull = half bull**** = not really that good.

It's nice to know that the youth of today aren't above making classical references in their smack talk...
