I am really not liking this version of Meg's i hope it is a concept design, because it is terrible.

i am really starting to think the bay and the other people involved in this film are going for visuals rather than trying to make a live action version of the licence they have been given the privilege to use.

SORT IT OUT

I agree, they went a bit too far with this one.

What happened to the tank Megs?

It's a bit [And I strain the bit] Beast Machines in the head. Can't say I'm fond of it though.

Well, I'm not too concerned yet. From what little I know of the movie, is that of any possible Cybertonian modes, we're more likely to see Megatron's than anyone else.

This says "alien jet" so this is probably his Cybertronian mode (which obvilously shouldn't be human looking).

So, I wouldn't discount the "tank" Megatron just yet.

Thats what i'm thinking to be honest, maybe a number of these ones we've seen (maybe the bumblebee robot mode also) are cybertronian modes rather than earthen.... it sounds really really stupid to have gone with such an out there design for half of them and not so bad ones for others

I've lost count on how many times some fan has said that.

And yet, TF just keeps going.

We'll see who's laughing in 2007!

I'm laughing at this god-awful design. I don't WANT to see Transformers be a dead entity.. but there's just no flippin' way that this is going to be a 'hit' movie. I just cannot see this happening, as there's very few people who are going to say "That's just like the Megatron I remember!" ... They're going to say "What the **** is this supposed to be!"

This seems, to me, to have all the worst aspect of Godzilla, Catwoman, and The Core combined, only without the cool French Guy (TM) from Godzilla. The fact that Micheal Bay is constantly talking about sequels is hilarity itself because it's so absurd.

But, hey, I could be wrong. I was wrong about Baywatch... But I'm willing to bet, right now, $100 that this won't last one month in general release theatres. First taker gets the bet.

And I'm serious.

I can agree somewhat.

This movie is supposed to be based on the 80's line, but is more looking like RID meets mutant robots. Especially with the Decepticons alien/monster looks.

I think the more "alien" they make their Cybertronian versions the better.

Maybe I'll be accused of "pretending" again, but seriously, as much as I liked War Within and the designs, everything still felt like it was based on human vehicles and designs. Like helicopters and treaded tanks and cars. It always bothered me. So this...this I like.

That is, if it is his Cybertronian form...but I think it is for three reasons: 1) because it looks a lot like the arctic "frozen" on set prop picture that popped up a week ago of Megs, 2) because they've all been saying all along Megs is a tank (even when they released the names last week did they still claim he was a tank?), and 3) because this picture specficially says "alien plane"...and since the other Decepticons went through the trouble of disguising themselves, why wouldn't Megatron?

If this is, just straight up what he will look like for the movie, I will be disappointed. But...at least he has the right helmet design shape (in battle mode). :) (and this kind of answers how they will have facial features without the special "skin" like metal)

Okay, here are the rules.

1) Payment will be through paypal accounts.

2) The Movie must remain in first line theatre release one month from the date of initial release.

3) Dated proof of #2 will be required to claim the bet. An original 'times and dates' movie sheet from a newpaper will suffice.

4) Failure to provide #3 will constitute losing the bet.

Is this acceptable?

Surely it should be equally on you to prove that it isn't in first line theatres for just as long?
