In the begining, we see Dinobot kneeling down in his quraters holding his sword. He looks outside and sees three birds fly by in the Missing Man formation, as well as the Sun that looks like the Golden Disk he gave back to Megatron.
He then turns his sword upside down, and is about to stab himself in the chest, when he realizes that it is not the 'Way of a Warrior', so he throws the sword away.

Waspinator finding happiness as leader of the anthropoids, nice little jokey ending made sadder by the fact there was no more Beast wars.

it was also sad when optimus and cheetor weren't friends anymore because he became a mutant teen

Dinobot's death. Even now when I watch it and know what's going to happen, I still cry over and over. And TM2 Dinobot. In the end, he redeemed himself. That made me cry too. I'm such a sap......

Tigerhawk's death was pretty sad for me too.
Tigatron and Airrazor were two of my favorite characters, and I was so happy to see them back, then BAM, they're gone. Again.
