The colors really add to THS-02's bot mode, making it look less fat.

However, it still doesn't save the lame vehicle mode.

He does look better than Robotmaster G1 Convoy, though.

Vehicle mode looks better, robot mode looks so so still, the "sleeves" look more prominent now, and i still dont see why they couldny have just filed the chest down by a few mm and placed the hinges at a position further back rather than having it protrude so much.
