Yeah, last I heard this movie was scraped. Too bad, would've loved a Deadpool movie. Though I'm not sure it would've worked.

i went on imdb and it said it was due for a 2007 release so i think it was just that site. ryan reynolds in the lead role could be pretty cool too.

i also found out there's an iron man movie, and the plot outline for spidey 3!

and then came the despair...captain america...in 2007...

Why wouldn't they be allowed to mention Weapon X? I'd love to see any sort of suggestion that some or all of the modern Marvel movies are part of a shared universe, particularly Deadpool and X-Men.

IMDB also has a listing for a Luke Cage movie to come out next year. Who knows how many of these proposed films will actually be made.

Most Marvel properties of any significance have been in development to some degree since the early-1990s boom. Seriously. It can be anything between Marvel hawking the thing, to some producer sounding out the feasability of the licensing etc. It's just that nowadays there are 9 million film magazines and 420 million inane news sites that actually report all this crap, as opposed to Stan Lee babbling about it in Bullpen Bits. Good old internet.

hmm, a cap movie was inevitable with marvel movies coming out left right and centre...shame really...i hate tht patriotic t*at

ahem...anyway, what do people think of ryan reynolds as deadpool? he's a cocky so n so and can handle the wit, but im not sure about the man of action side, he was nearly owned by a dog in blade trinity...

caps actually one of my favorite characters. its whenhes given a political agenda is when its bad. but i urge you to check out brubakers current run or classic waid.

i'll always remember him as "captain america-commie basher"

but i recently bought maximum carnage, he was cool in that, and some of the recent avengers united issues like "the Red Zone" even if it did creep in on the threat of a biological weapons attack on the U.S....

i heard there was a deadpool fan-vid on youtube, some guy mentioned it on the letters page of this months wolvie and deadpool...have yet to check it out though for fear of what may have been done to my wade.
