Universe Legends Class wave 5: Cosmos, Wheelie, Rodimus and Warpath

Post by Nevermore »

Cosmos was shown at San Diego Comic-Con and on the cover of the Collectors' Club magazine. Photos of the other three were thus far only available for members of the Collectors' Club.

Until now.

Well Cosmos, Warpath, and Wheelie I'll be getting.

Cosmos looks pretty damn cool. Warpath as well. Wheelie I'll get for collection completeness.
All that was needed was a catalyst and the machines of war are set in motion.

I'm not a fan of the legends class at all (mostly because of price per ounce), but those are pretty cool. Given the mini nature of the G1s, those might be worth picking up. On sale.

Warpath and Rodimus, I will buy for sure. Wheelie is a maybe, and I'm probably avoiding Cosmos (but I've known that for quite a while now).

Is that Rodimus supposed to be based off of IDW Hot Rod? Or is it a repaint of an older Legends?

I've been really impressed with these last two rounds of Legends (Beachcomber, Brawn, Cosmos, Warpath...all excellent!) I'll probably skip Wheelie and Rodimus though.

Hmmm . . . Cosmos doesn't look as good as earlier photos, but still cool enough to pick up. I'm highly impressed with Warpath. I hope they eventually make a deluxe version that looks that good.

Nifty!

Those guys all look great! Legends Class has really come in to its own again!

Warpath's tank mode looks a little awkward, but for the great robot mode, I'd happily compromise (and picture quality isn't that great).

That's a brand-new mould. None of those four are repaints.

New sale thread added with a range of Transformers including Masterpiece, Botcon, CHUG, RID, Movies etc.

Looking for MP-11T Thundercracker and MP-9 Rodimus v2 (Takara version with as few QC issues as possible).

Check out my new sale thread now!

Also items on eBay.

Not too big on Legends TFs, but I may just have to get Warpath. He's neat.

Cosmos, Warpath and Wheelie are all vast improvements on their original minibot toys, but for me Rodimus is kinda lacklustre.

I'm wondering why the hell they made Rodimus to begin with...

I'm nearly exploding with excitement...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WANT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Though, wheelie doesn't really scream wheelie. The car mode looks like orange-bee, imo.

Oh, and before anyone else has this idea, i'm thinking of making a series of transformer that turn into weaponry. Starting with a shield-former from Cosmos.

They already did weapon formers, waaaaaaaay back in G1 with Megatron. :D You're late! Mwahahaha.

Seriously though, I really love the Cosmos and Warpath, and Wheelie isn't half bad. Rodimus is my biggest concern. He looks iffy to me, but I'll still get it for the character.

So yes. WANT ALL DAMMIT

Actually, i thought someone would bring up targetmasters...

Anyway, i like MELEE combat. The sound of splitting metal...

I don't actually see the problem with Roddy, tbh. He looks fine, though i'd love to see the transformation process i.e. instruction manual.

I'll get all of them...or at least Wheelie and Cosmos, if I won't get my hands on the original Classics/Henkei Hot Rod.

All I got to say about Warpath is ZAM BAM KAZOOIIE!!

Holy crap, the level of detail in these four is astounding considering they're legends class. The Warpath in particular looks like it could be a Deluxe Class figure (incidentally, I like the idea of taking G1 figures that started out as minibots -- like Bumblebee and Powerglide -- and doing larger versions of them).

Hot Rod looks a lot like the IDW version, and Wheelie looks surprisingly great. Can't wait to see these figures in stores.

I hope these guys retain most of their coloration when the final product is out. I like the level of detail put into these, even though they're so small. Warpath, Cosmos, and Wheelie are something I'll be definitely thinking about getting. Well, Warpath is just a must have for me... ;)

I wouldn't mind an Ultra Class since an Abram's tank, or whatever sort of tank they will use is pretty Huge. It's what I wished of Galvatron *le sigh*
