I just won on ebay a complete Hoist for $24 after shipping http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 744996906. Not bad hay?

Well from the pic he looks like he has all his parts.And you got him for only $24 Good Job:)

IMO you really got lucky but still a good buy none the less

It's a very nice price. I have seen lately many tfs on ebay that are selling for lower prices than it usually had.

you know what? a lot of times those things will go for less when they don't have the character's name in the item title, like that one, cause not as many die hard nerdy collectors will stumble across if they only do searches on individual names and not browse through general transformers stuff. i've gotten a lot of good deals like that.

Definately! Some of my best bargains have been misadvertised lots... it's worth searching ebay for "transformer" or even mispelling such as "Transormers" etc.

Now this sucks I paid him and then got an e-mail from him saying that he was send my check back because he went to pack it and found his dog had chewed it up.

If it wasn't for that extra $5, I'd bet that he got a better price via e-mail after the auction closed. Or maybe he did anyway...

Yeh, but you've made $5 - it's not like you actually wanted Hoist, you tried to trade him in the opening post. Instant karma, the system works etc, etc.
