Starting on May 4th the Dutch version of Foxkids will start airing their FIRST Mecha anime series in... well, ever.

Medabots (Aka Medarot Navi in Japan)

I want to know what you guys think of it.

You may scorn Medabots Plasmodium, but its the ONLY robot (anime) series we have period. We dont even get Beast Wars or RID here. Our Cartoon Network ONLY airs DragonballZ (up to Cell saga, then reruns from ep 1) So no Gundam (Wing) either.

And i've seen a Japanese opening for Medabots, the Medabot Medabee is a TRIPLE CHANGER and has 1 heck of a cannon in his beetle/tank form.

I think I'll like the series.

Medabots is a great show, I watch it as much as I can it's on usually right before Yu-Gi-Oh.

I dont CARE if it's similar to Pokemon. It has Mecha(tiny ones) that alone is reason enough to watch it.
It will be the ONLY anime we have with robots/Mecha in em, they don't air Transformers:RID here or Gundam(fill in version).
I plan on watching AND taping this series, for better or worse(it can't possibly be worse then Pokemon)

The series is indeed one I'll like.
They have dubbed it in Dutch though.(usual fate for anime on Foxkids here)
Sadly this means that Medabee doesn't have his US Ghetto style voice, but he sounds pretty cool though. He didn't say much, but after the battle was over did he ever give Ikki a piece of his mind, and weapons

That should teach Ikki NOT to call him a pile of junk
