Very cool looking but the name "Dark Scorponok" sort of sounds like a candy bar IMO.

G1 Masterforce Black Zarak

Black, Gold and Red paint job? Check

Smattering of teal, just for fun (Because we can't have giant robots feeling too masculine)? Check

Robotic Scorpion Alt mode? Check

Red Visor? Check

Classic G1 Stylings brought up to date for a new generation (AKA a Homage, not to be confused with Formage....)? Check

Gee boys and girls this looks like Cybertron Black Zarak to me.... Oh but wait, G1 is old, obsolete and should be completely forgotten..... :rolleyes:

But, going back over the repaint pictures - this is deffinatly a black repaint I'm getting, and is going with the others

I bet with you, the moment this thing appears on a store shelf, someone will post "BUT I TOT HE WUZ CLUB EXCLUSIVE!", despite any lack of evidence that he was ever planned to be.

is anyone noticing that all the cybertron/galaxy force energon repaints are molds that didn't get a repaint in energon (scorponok, downshift, snow cat), or am i the only one (or is it just coincedence)?

I thought Snowcat was a TF Universe repaint.

Only thing I knew to link him to the Club was the fact that he showed up in the comic. I'm HAPPY he isn't an TFCC exclusive - As I wouldn't be able to get him then.

And they're doing a snowcat repaint....?
