IT WILL ARRIVE.

BRAND NEW PEEP SHOW. WATCH IT.

Preview clips - http://www.channel4.com/video/peep-show/series-5/

You can catch up here so you can pretend to have always watched it, too - http://www.channel4.com/entertainment/t ... index.html

So, I'm guessing Sophie won't be in it too much, but Jez is spineless enough to still worship Super Hans despite him coping off with Nancy, and I suspect Mark still works for Johnson despite "having a tumor".

And Suze is in it! Awesome :)

EXCITED!

Any colonial making a "fifth of February already been and gone" joke will be used for target practice.

I mean, there's even a clue in the way you say it - the day of the month of the year. No-one actually says "February oh-five oh-eight". Do they?

The preview clips look sharp as Hell, and considering hardly any of the very cream moments are online on the site for the previous series, that's a good sign :)

Got to love the nerdy continuity as well... was it series 2 where Jez having symptomless clamydia was a throwaway joke?

Well, we wouldn't say "OH-5"... This seems to be one of the cases where the differences between the countries actally make sense for each country. In the US, we do say "February 5th" - or May 2nd, August 8th, September 22nd, or whatever. There is, of course, the Fourth of July - but, that's the title of a holiday, and the day is also often refered to as July 4th. "The fifth of October" or "the eleveth of January " might occasionally be used, but October 5th/January 11th is the much more common usage; and "5 October", "2 May", "19 January" are never used here.

What the devil are you talking about? I don't get channel 4.

That was pretty good, actually. Not as strong as the insanely good start to last year ("I am James Bond"/"No tea for the beastmaster, thanks, he sups on the blood of his prey"/"Your juristiction over my face is over"), but still pretty solid. Heather was a complete bitch, hope we don't see her again. And teenagers really are that terrifying, aren't they? And best last line ever, anyone?

Can we just mention stuff's on YouTube rather than direct-linking a new show, please...

I just assumed he'd ransacked the place himself to claim on the insurance.

But no, apparently he is actually that rubbish.

Okay, last night's had loads of great jokes in it, but I'm more worried about me. Should I really feel sorry for Mark? Because I do, and I think Soph's a complete bitch for being so nasty to him... Despite, y'know, everything.

And Jez is just getting stupider, isn't he?

"Still, I win, because they thought it was piss!"

"Why did you get him to suck you off?"
"I was bored, alright?"

Aww, that was actually really sweet. In a weird, twisted way.

I have now caught up, due to missing the second ep whilst it was airing, and the DVD only now having come down to a sensible seven quid.

Ace.

That is all I have to say.

Oh, and LARP still = scary.

Massive points for the Sophie's POV stuff on the DVD extras.
