IDW Megatron...?

I might be the last person to have noticed this, but looking at the IDW website solicitaions page, I just noticed the (one of the) cover(s) for issue five shows the re-imagined Megatron...

Megatron, 2006

Now, looking at the pic, who else thinks he's a handgun?

It's worth noting though that several of the covers to date- usually the ones not drawn by E.J.- have used the "old" charecter modles (just look at Guido's Starscream and Ratchet incentive covers for the just published issue two). I suspect they're just keeping the new look for the two leaders as closely guarded a secret as they can till the last minuet...

That's my assumption. It's the movie that won't feature a gun Megatron. IDW are just going with updated modern designs.

Anyway, this isn't exactly news (the #5 solicitations have been out for a while), so I'll move this over to the main Transformers forum.
