Soundwave's link is not working man. Had to correct it on the address bar. You accidentaly linked it to Megalo Convoy's page.

I take it that the third Megalo Convoy pic uses a bog standard Optimus/ whatever his name is in GF, and he is really that big?

I don't know what bog means, but that's a small Galaxy Convoy figure with metallic paint. It's the size of LOC figures...

Wasn't sure if it was a LOC one or one of the kabaya things or a newest tiny figure.

BTW Nev, any news at all on THS Master Megatron?

F2F revealed a long tome ago that he'll come with a metallic red EZ Galaxy Convoy, and since the EZ Colection things are Takara's version of LoC...

Nope, and since DragonX76 never credits his sources, it'll be hard to track this one down.

Soundwave's jet mode looks kind of blocky in that picture. I hope it isn't permanent.

EDIT: Not as blocky as Star Convoy, though. Bleh :wtf:

Is it just me or does Galvatron look like the Batmobile?

Is it just me, or has everyone and their mother already pointed this out when Megatron, whom Galvatron is a repaint of, came out?

You know, I keep looking at the BTA girls and wondering how they bend their legs to fit in the car. Are they like rubber bendy figures, or something? They don't seem to have any joints, but they can bend to sit in the car fine. Such an odd choice for the company that brought microman to the world.

The driver figure will come with interchangable body parts so you can fit them in the car since the driver figure itself is not poseable or lacks articulation. Like gashapons...
I've said it before, and I say it again: These things are just cheap additions to justify the jacked up price.

I would have thought that they would just include two figures: one sitting, one standing.

Well, regardless, they'll be going to "The Bucket" of crappy toys, and away from the BTs...

Then why buy them in the first place? It's not as if they're dirt cheap.

Takara's marketing logic:

Binaltechs don't sell well enough for 4,980 Yen, so why don't we just add some cheap, unarticulated anime girl figures and offer them for 5,500 Yen? That way we're gonna make them more attractive for a wider audience which previously steered away from our expensive toys.

I'm talking about the little anime figures, not the cars :)

EDIT: Nevermore: how well do Binaltechs sell within Japan, anyway?

They're a Binaltech sub-line, called Binaltech* (binaltech asterik).

They're general release.
