Single. Due mostly to being emotionally underdeveloped (or emotionally detached, or perhaps both) and having the whole Henry McCoy/Ben Grimm self-loathing complex.

I disagree, you're right that it's technically a relationship, but casually dating someone doesn't have to be any more a relationship than having a friend is a type of relationship.

I'm of the opinion that if you have a girlfriend/boyfriend, are committed to a romantic relationship with one person, you are not single.
