Last year's BotCon was "Timelines", this one is themed "Generations". Taking place in Lexington, Kentucky from September 28 - October 1 (reported before).
The storyline is supposed to be a prequel to the Beast Wars cartoon, the box set will include Optimus Primal, Rattrap, Rhinox, Cheetor and Dinobot. All toys will come with special "Golden Disk Keys", which seems to indicate that they will be redecos of Cybertron toys.
Appropriatly, guests will be Blu Mankuma (Tigatron), Richard Newman (Rhinox) and Pauline Newstone (Airazor). Also attending will be Simon Furman and other IDW Publishing representatives.
M Sipher's traditional MSTF! (Mystery Science Transformers) will be part of the program again, there will be a Transformers Game Night with the new Transformers Attacktix figures and lots of panels.
Special features will be a vote for "best Transformers fan site", as well as a fan site competition and a "battle of the boards", a trivia contest between different sites' staff.
