Dude, get it... DEFINITELY get season 3 as it's far more painfully hilarious than the other two seasons combined.

Bought season 2 over the weekend, borrowed season 3 off a mate (will buy it eventually tho). So I'm in for more marathon family guy watching tonight if I can tear myself away from Soul Caliber 2

They only aired one season of Family Guy here. Don't know why, cause I thought it was pretty good and from what I hear, its really popular overseas.

Futurama is by far my favourite cartoon show at the moment. How does Family Guy compare to it?

There's a leaked version that was just released a few days ago. I saw it and loved it. Man, this is definitely a DVD worth buying. I'm counting down the days.

I watched it last night (somebody at the dorm has a bootleg copy somehow.) It's really funny and it watches like several episodes put together, several smaller plotlines that could have been stand alone episodes with one storyline that ties the whole shebang together. And like every minor character you can think of is at least mentioned by name if not given screen time (Ollie Williams, Greased-Up-Deaf Guy, Creepy old man that always hits on Chris, etc.)
