UPDATED!: More Toy problems for OTFCC

Rumor is circulationg the borads about the supply of the OTFCC exclusive Sentinital Maximus. Rumor states that this toy will also have to be dropped.

The exclusive "Last Autobot", a repaint of RID prime in G1 Hotspot colors, was earlier dropped. OTFCC officials claim Hasbro had time issues due to the popularity of the Energon line.

No news is confirmed or denied at this time. I'll be bird-dogging this issue in the days to come.

Actually, I thought the toy looked kind of interesting. But, as it's looking like I won't be at OTFCC this year - I'd have to spend major money for it, so......

You can get the toys without goingto the con i think now. check out the faq at otfcc.com

That's not what I meant. And I can't help but think that you knew that when you decided to move the thread.

When I said that, I was saying that I don't really know who would care, since Sentinel Maximus is considered by many to be a sh*tty toy not worth buying, not that people wouldn't be interested because it wasn't news. Because it is news.

Please move it back to the News forum. Or at least make two copies of the thread and send one back to the News forum.

take as ye like... Just trotted over to the OTFCC boards, and one of the mod/admins just squelched the rumors of sentinel's downfall. taht seems to me like a GOOD indicator he IS GOING TO BE AVAILABLE

Bad News: The toy will not be ready for the con, but shipped to those who pre-ordered it, at the expense of 3H

Yikes.. since these guys split up and went their own ways, they've been running around like chickens with their heads cut off. I remembered asking OTFCC to mail out the prereg form in January since I didn't have a printer (Botcon had always been mailed out). I just now get the prereg form and it says I had to order before 4/19/04 for the exclusives.. what a shamble. Now I see about this whole figure not going to be ready? Aye aye aye..

And in other news, the Mega PVC Skywarp figure won't be available, either.

Apparently, it's due to the fac that they're "negotiating lower production numbers with Hasbro to make it more exclusive to the fan community."

A mega PVC Skywarp? I wonder what that would have looked like. I don't recall seeing it either.. the prereg form just had:
