When you said Darkwing, my first thought was Darkwing Duck and once I saw the pic I still thought Darkwing Duck.

Thet say always look on the bright side of life. What bright side???? I mean man I hate Universe Silverbolt and I don't want a redeco of it because those will take te places of other few transformers that are good and actually COME(always a suprise to find out what they have and don't have in our puny stores) to my little country of Dutchies.

According to this guy, this toy is going to be named "Darkwind" and will be a Toys'R'Us exclusive together with "Countdown" (possibly an Onslaught redeco?).

Countdown? Though with Big Daddy and Treadbolt, guess that's not too surprising. Though i can't see Onslaught as Countdown, presuming it is based on G1 countdown.

Hmm Darkwind eh??? In Dutch language we can make very stupid jokes about this that would be translated as "Darkfart":lol:Yesss I know, most Dutchies have a very bad sense of humor...

There's a fellow over at TFW's custom forum (I don't think he posts here) that made a Darkwing and and a custom Dreadwind(as opposed to the Botcon offering). It's quite interesting that Hasbro saw enough similarity between Darkwing and the Universe Silverbolt toy to offer an official redeco. Coupled with the Botcon Dreadwind, the duo are feasibly attainable as official toys again, though I have no idea how much the Botcon toy costs now.

Darkwing Duck would be better then #^@!$* Donald Duck.

Wouldn't have minded a Windsweeper, but then again, it'd rather see a tweaked mold for that, and sacrifice Darkwing to the repaint demons.
Be nice if it were to be darkwing, if it had an altered head design,at least.
Darkwing... will he be just another name to slap on toys?
Every Snake-eyes looks like snake-eyes.. Like for real. Hahaha.

It's gotta be Darkwing...Dreadwing...whichever...
All that was needed was a catalyst and the machines of war are set in motion.

What's your prooblem with Donald Duck??? I know that he is childish and mad and yessss we know that there is a certain company who makes Disney Transformers(Just only one now luckily) but as longas there is no Duckish Transformer it is alright in my opinion. Still I wpuld have preferred an angry looking duck about that Optimus Primouse thing....

I'd pay akshual money for a darkwing duck that transformed into his bike and/or jet.

and maybe a bert raccoon too.

so there.

God, the 80's were epic win, weren't they?

Countdown NOT being Onslaught is a bit of a shock, but hey, got all 3 Cybertron Defense molds in a line again (One got in twice!)

I actually prefer Red Alert. Onslaught was a terrible disappointment, and I don't have Red.

The Cybertron Defense Red Alert mold actually suits Countdown quite well. The fact that it supposedly will be a TRU exclusive is... problematic, as Canada didn't seem to get the Movie or Titanium TRU exclusives, so I wouldn't be surprised if these two don't get released in Canada. Though, I could care less for the Darkwing/Darkwind/Dark-something-or-other, as Silverbolt is shelfwarming quite comfortably right now.
