This is one of my favorite mecha anime among Transformers and BB-Daman Bakugaiden? Who has seen it? I like the action, tragedy, early humor, mech designs, and mood setting music.

The spiky haired boy is Yamato, the hero of the story...
The blonde girl lives in Yamato's village, and long friends with him...
The old man on an umbrella is a pervert (he looks like Santa Claus)...
And the Giant robot whose as tall as Metroplex is Suyjojin, the robot hero of the story.
