Superlink (Energon) Screen captures! (spoilers)

Post by deej »

well - looks like remy's got his hands on the first 3 eps of Superlink and has been nice enough to screencap them.

Can find the screen caps for the episodes here: http://tfkenkon.com/g/?mode=album&album ... 00&start=0

And the ep names:

Ep1: Arise! Ocean City
Ep2: Shine! Energon Star
Ep3: Trap of Megazark

Some nice looking pics in there - including pics of Kicker & co... One note of interest is that Alpha-Q is done in CGI...

Looks sweet.

I'm wondering if this should belong in Armada/Energon, though.

The animation definitely looks better than Armada. I hope the plot is just as improved.

Wait. How are we able to tell what the animation looks like from screen caps? The artwork looks nice, but who knows if they're still pulling the cheap-trick action shots of Armada. (I hope they don't.)

Just by the way the art kinda stands out in some pictures...I'm wondering if they're doing CG characters with cel-skins (like recent Zoids cartoons) or if they're gonna do that some of the time...or maybe not at all. Might be my eyes playing tricks on me.

It's done with cel-shading. Seen the intro movies yet?

Nope, not yet. I'll look into them (with my extremely agile :wtf: 56k modem connection)

It'd probably be faster.

Ahah. Coolness. Didn't know it was on so soon.

(Hasn't really checked much into the cartoon or its showing times at all)

Doesn't look that bad, I can't wait for tommorow. The only thing I'm dissappointed is .................................... those damn Voltron transformation scenes.
