War Within: Age Of Wrath (By Joe Ng)

Micromasters #2 (By Rob Ruffolo)

Micromasters #3 (By Don Figueroa)

Micromasters #3 (By Pat Lee)

Micromasters #4 (By Alex Milne)

Micromasters #4 (By Pat Lee)

Yes, I do realize that some of these have already been posted, but I'm posting them again just for the sake of completeness.

And oh, goody. More f*cking multiple cover f*cking variants.

Y'know, Micromasters is really beginning to look a lot more like DW's latest colossal cash grab attempt. I mean, doing multiple cover variants for the first issue was bad enough, but doing it for ALL of them?

How come DW have to covers done, what, five months in advance, and yet their comics never ship on time?

Oh right, most important bit.

Age of Wrath... so, have they given up on Cybertronian designs? Or are the Turbomasters somehow Cybertronian enough to fit (like all of the sodding Micromaster designs) whilst even Kup has had a refit up to this point?

Because he's a whore. A corporate one, I hasten to add. Therefore we're unlikely to see any form of meaningful character death whatsoever—not as long as Hasbro don't trust him with that subject matter, there's more sales mileage in keeping around high-recognition faces such as Shockwave, etc.

Why does Megatron look like Bluto? And they have really ****ed up Ultra Magnus on this one.

Yup. And with Joe Ng on board, that's the kind of crap we can expect all the way through the series...

Simon, you'd better have one hell of a story to balance things out.

My fav covers would be the ongoing 9 and the age of wrath ones.

A lot of them really look crap and the whole double cover for all micromasters.... its just the G1's all over again.

The Ng art could be decent. It has that distorted style some maniacal Pat Lee asswipers would call Shohen, but I had less of a problem with that in Pat Lee's art and more with his problems keeping everything to scale. I could deal with that style provided Ng can be consistent...instead of drawing like an amatuer...

All that said, where the hell is the art for #7 in the ongoing? That's one of my favorite covers to date and wouldn't mind that as a poster at all.

So presumiably the Shockers who died was just one of the clones, no doubt based on Radioshack Shockwave;)

What happened to the Ultra Magnus WW design that was seen in vollume 2? Admitadly it wasn't that different (mainly shorter shoulders) but at least they tried...

Anyone know if issue 9 is a continuation of the Insecticon story or a whole new arc?

Thus explaining the high turnover of ineffectual cameos over the course of volume 2.
