Fantastic! I love Trailbreaker, and that's probably a cheaper way of getting the full accessories kit. Hoist also is cool, never quite got around to getting the TRU one. It's a really good mould, and I was hoping when the Amazing Onebox Brothers came out Takara would start working their way through some of the other Premium-Only reissues (actually, I think that's the whole lot that have come out at a later date now in one market or another). Let's just hope they don't **** with Trailbreaker's head or anything - the toy is much more interesting than the character model.

Hopefully Hound is on the agenda as well - the TFC version seemed to be rare almost as soon as it came out, and he's another one that would really benefit from having his almost SoC level of accessories.

As a random, semi-related thought - if some Chinese bootleggers can turn out some (by all accounts) superb knock-offs of Mirage, how come it seems totally beyond Takara to do the same? Same with the Dinobots (who surely must have mould trouble to have been out of circulation so long)...

Pretty cool. My TB doesn't have his accessories. I got him in the same lot I got the battle-worn Red Alert. I need to dig those guys out. I miss them, even with the pristine reissue Red Alert I have out.

Here's hoping they do a Trailbreaker (or whatever they'll call him. Wasn't the guy who became Leobreaker supposed to have that name, but they lost the trademark? *looks him up* Overhaul. That's who I mean) in TFU. Shoot. I'd be happy if they just repainted Iron Hide with his deco.

Yay! I've always wanted a Trailbreaker.
No longer looking for RID Dreadwind, but I still need Smokejumper. I'm also in need of Mammoth Nemesis Prime's tail piece, as my figure lacks it. Send me a PM.

Delighted about this as I really need a Trailbreaker thats complete with its 700 accessories and in better nick than my G1 example which is pretty tired-obviously my thread in T&M made Takara get their finger out and get the line ticking over again;)
Wonder if they will be as a 2-pack like TC and SW were as I already have 1 Commerative and 2 G1 Hoists(Im getting rid of one in my Ebay link) so dont really need another but id probably still buy the twinpack just to get my hands on TB.
Wonder what they will do about the name-arent there issues?
@Cliffy I have also wondered how if a bunch of backroom bootleggers can reverse engineer Mirage(I too have read excellent reports about it) why cant a company the size of Takara do likewise?
Loss of job. Will sell for food here.

To be fair, actually, chances are the bootleggers are in better shape than Takara. Parp!

As far as I understand it, the bootleggers' reverse-engineered molds are GOOD, but not nearly up to Hasbro/TakaraTomy's standards, which would be a LOT more expensive.

Got that right. This just made my day. Now, I get to add to my Trailbreaker collection.

WOOHOO!!!

I am so ordering this despite the amount of Trailbreaker memorabilia I already have. I might actually splurge and get two.

Bloody hell, I'd consider this very magnificent news if it were not for the fact that I'm broke and likely will be when it comes out too. I'd love to have a Trailbreaker for sure, one of my favorite G1 molds. I know Civ is happy as hell though....

F****** Awesome!

I've been wanting a Trailbreaker for years!
All that was needed was a catalyst and the machines of war are set in motion.

Do you seriously have nothing of value to add to any thread here ever? Like...never ever? Why even post then?

Excellent! I need to start adding some G1's to my collection. Reissues are jsut the way I wanted to do it. A friend of mine had Trailbreaker when we were kids. I always coveted that toy. Perhaps I will have my chance yet...

Yep. Have Fun. :)

I hope hoist is NOT with trailbreaker. i want 1, but not the other. Anyone know if Hoist's articulation is good? i don't want to spend $$$ on a brick...

@Kali: I hate to say this, but your post doesn't add any value to this thread's topic either. Don't call the kettle black. Oh, and if you hate me so much, try putting me on your ignore list?
