Things you want to do this year...

Post by Cliffjumper »

...ambitious, pretentious, banal, anoraky, young guns go for it!

For me:

- Quit smoking (my 25th is the target; no, it's financially motivated, bitches)
- Stop my laptop from frying
- Get my hair done like David Bowie
- Get to watch all the games I want for the World Cup (yay for hosts in sensible timezone!)

I've really got to stop assuming everyone's more-or-less the same age as me...

It's less fun when it's legal. Differently fun, anyway.

Check out http://www.w3schools.com for the website bit... get into good habits early on and you'll have far fewer headaches later on.

2) Pass Real Estate Broker exam (one last class I have to take before I am qualified)
3) Continue to collect toys but rein in my spending from last year
4) Visit Taiwan, Japan, and Thailand for vacation
5) Strengthening my relationship with my gf.. no more big fights if possible

-Move into a house with room for a crossbow (like a bowflex, but cheaper)
-Make my MAME cabinet
-Sell some undisplayed toys on ebay
-Move back to Blacksburg if I get a job offer in the area
-Get back into working the Toys section of the site

Offtopic, but does anyone know how well something like a crossbow machine would work to substitute regular lifting? I used to go to the gym with friends, but now I have no gym and no friends (except my wife who couldn't spot me in a million years) where I live now.

I know where your coming from, it's hard to see a beloved family member struggle through old age, but do you have to sound so upbeat?

You mean bowflex machine? I once knew a girl who swears by it and even bought one for each family member. I like the new bowflex product which is a dumbell that you can adjust the weight on it. Couple that with a bench and you can do a lot of free weight exercises. I plan to let my current gym membership run out before deciding whether to get it.

Maybe finish that RID Thunderwing I've been working on for a few years, now.
Build a new computer that incorporates the video card and tv card that I have, but won't work in my slaggin' compaq.
