Post by Nevermore »

That's Cybertron Armorhide done up as Huffer, Thunderblast done up Elita-1 and Cybertron Defense Hot Shot done up as Springer (!).
Looking for a complete Energon Sky Shadow (from Superion Maximus).
Offering: Binaltech Hound, Swindle, Ravage (Corvette), Skids.
Can buy in stores: Robot Heroes Tigatron/Inferno, Ricochet/Predaking.

I see... even more unhappy fans! :P

Springer's an odd choice, but I suppose E-Bulkhead wouldn't have been much of a change.

The red one above Grimlock, does that look like a possible Powerglide to anyone else? I can't quite figure out who the one is between Magnus and Grimlock though it looks sorta like another Dinobot but damned if I know who or what it's repainted from. The last obscure figure below Elita-One is a mystery to me. I can't place the character or the repainted mold at all.

The three tiny ones are existing RID2 minicons.

Sadly, I don't know their names by heart.. heh.

They're the classics minicons.

The red one behind Grimlock is Swoop. The one below Elita-One is Strongarm, but I can't tell who the one behind Magnus's shoulder is.

"Robots in Disguise 2" . The actual package name for the 'classics' line is still "Robots in Disguise".

anyway, i thought that the guy behind Ultra Magnus's shoulder looked like Action Master Snarl, and getting a better look at the picture, i became more convinced it does. Then i saw a comment by Alex Milne on his deviantart page that confirms it's Snarl.

Hot Shot as Springer makes sense - but I would have expected the normal version, rather than defense. But then, maybe the feel that mold already has a G1 inspired repaint.

There are similarities in body design at least! Odd alt. mode with defense though.

Armorhide as Huffer is inspired (always reminded me of him anyhoo)!

And Elita-1? I've never been her biggest fan to be honest. I found her irritating in the cartoon - but as a full grown boy, I must say she allows for some hilarious inuendos in the episodes she graces!

New sale thread added with a range of Transformers including Masterpiece, Botcon, CHUG, RID, Movies etc.

Looking for MP-11T Thundercracker and MP-9 Rodimus v2 (Takara version with as few QC issues as possible).

Check out my new sale thread now!

Also items on eBay.

What?! There's nothing suggestive about "only your design can interface with Elita-1's". It's computer lingo, nothing more.

Nice. If they make a Classics Snarl, I need to track it down.

Nah, it's a habit I got into in organizing some of my projects. Only SOME of the RID2 toys are 'classics'. (This will be important at the end of the year, I suspect)

That fact we're all HERE means we've all got the coke-bottle lenses, at least in spirit. :)

Seeing the world in shades of ale? :)

I wonder, though, if we're going to see some classics-themed online store exclusives. The oft-rumored Seaspray, etc, would do pretty well there.
