Transformers (?) being shown on Terrestrial TV (ITV) in the UK?

Post by dai-atlas2000 »

It was brought to my attention that Transformers is listed as being shown on UK terrestrial channel 3 on Sunday mornings somewhere between 8:25 and 9:25 as part of a kids program. Is this Armada they are showing? or which series is it?

Also, how long have they been running whatever show it is?

It's Armada... my flatmate's watched it, I haven't...

Oh, and the UK Armada comic's out as well. Art is middling to lousy, but Furman's script carries it, I think... wish I had my US Armada #1 to do a comparison review with...

For those interested, the episode of Transformers: Armada which was shown this morning on ITV was shown at 8:30am and was episode 5: "SOLDIER"

It was pretty good. Annoyingly, it means I've missed the first 4 episodes - but I know that eps 1-3 are available on DVD, so no worries. :)

The next episode is due to be broadcast next monday (it's Mayday). I'm sure if there's a sunday broadacast next week, but I'll post it here when I know :)

Comic says '21 May 2003' on it... £1.75, bundled with a G1 sticker album and 6 sticker pack... which must really confuse kids, actually... published by Panini.

Panini date their stuff as the last day it'll be on sale, i.e. #2 will be out on 22/05/03.

Just to let you know, this mornings episode of Armada was JUNGLE, and the next episode is due to be shown next Sunday morning. Apparantely X-Men evolution is also starting too. :\

Yeah, bring back G1 sounds like a good idea to me, but then I've never actually watched Armada, and Beast Wars only once or twice...... G1 is what I grew up with...... and I want more Protectobots :)
