Animated Wreck-Gar and Atomic Lugnut Out

Post by KValentine »

I found them at my local Target. I passed on Lugnut and picked up Wreck-Gar.

Very nice indeed! I been waiting for Wreck-Gar with baited breath. How about some out of the box pics, any chance for that?

I haven't even seen proto pics of Wreck-Gar. Glad to see he's out.

The kibble forms a backpack, which they did feature in the episode.

He looks a little small for a Voyager. Perhaps Hasbro should create a price category between Deluxe and Voyager.

Didn't they have one during Beast Wars?

What I know is that they currently don't have one for the TFA line.

Back on topic, the kibble backpack makes Wreck-Gar top heavy and tends to give the Bot a quick, hard lesson about gravity during some poses. But I still like this toy despite its minor flaws.

The Beast Wars Mega size class was around $15 and between Deluxe ($10) and Ultra ($20). They also had the super awesome Basic ($5-6).

Anyway, Wreck-Gar looks great! I'll definitely be picking him up.

I don't think I'll get any of the larger repaints, but I have loved what Hasbro has done with the voyager and leader repaints.

Atomic Lugnut looks great, Shadow Blade Megatron looks very nice and the Purple Shockwave is smart.

As for Wreck-Gar I was smitten with him since "Garbage in, Garbage out."

The toy is a little smaller than I thought. Thanks for the the pic.
Come on and wind me up.

I'll be getting a Wreck-Gar, if its available when I have the money. I hope those clear pincer things on his forearms are removable, and maybe the forklift things will fold up more (robot mode) than in that picture above. I'll still get him if not, though.

Those energy thingys store in the backpack. Take a closer look at pic #3 and you'll see. As for the forklift, it doesn't fold up anymore than that.

Perfect. Wreck-Gar's gonna run out as fast as Swoop and Sentinel Prime did.

Lugnut won't sell.

Very nice looking in the pics, I'm glad he is in scale with the rest, or at least closer than some. I hope I can find this one after I get birthday cash in a couple of weeks, but I'm not holding my breath. Lugnut on the other hand looks...odd.

I've got the following things here: one voyager Grims, One voyager Nutty, One voyager Prime. One The battle begins pack, Two leader Megs and a leader Bulky, Black-a's, Bumbs, Snar's, Jazzy and one other guy. We could only hope for the tick. And in the very beginning there were two Prowls and a Soundwave. Happy now?
