Sony has updated Transformersthemoviedvd.com, their website for the 20th Anniversary Special Edition release of Transformer: The Movie, again. This time they have added a Submit Your Fun Facts link. Sony is asking fans to them facts about Transformer: The Movie. The facts fans send in could become part of the 20th Anniversary Edition DVD. Here is what Sony posted on the website:

"Are you a huge Transformers Fan? Do you know any great fun facts about Transformers: The Movie? Send us your fun facts in twelve words or less with movie scene or scenes they relate to and your submission could make it into the 20th Anniversary Edition DVD coming this November! Good Luck!"

Ooh, it's like writing your own episode of Rock Profile!

FACT: This scene is utter bollocks.

FACT: This character died earlier in the movie.

FACT: I'm losing the will to live.

FACT!: Frank Welker replaced Leonard Nimoy in the post movie episdoes and gave Galvatron a bloody awfull high pitched voice that was allmost exactly the same as that Constructicon he played. Remember that when you whiney biatch fanboys demand he be in the new movie- He's rubish.

My first thought was this was a cheap way not to have to hire a researcher to..errr... research facts about the Movie. But then I realised they'd need someone to check the facts for acuracy anway (unless they really are going to put just about anything on it without looking) so it's probably little more than a publicity gimmick, I doubt they'll be any facts on it that they haven't allready prepared for inclusion.

So, do you think Rock would've submitted "Cliffjumper died at Unicron."?

any boby whos going to release a movie like this already knows everything about it. this prob the reason that once you summit a fact it becomes property of sony and you get no credit for sendng it in. i won't be sending one in.

That and the fact they'd probably screen submissions for spelling and punctuation?

... based on what? The fact that they've acquired the distribution rights?

Yeah... that puts them there at the storyboard stage.

FACT: In this scene, Unicron was actually voiced by Leonard Nimoy!!11one

FACT: Contrary to what some lunatics think, Unicron was not voiced by Leonard Nimoy in this scene!!11one

Odds on them getting lots of those submissions, anybody?

As you're second fact is more than 12 words it'll be chucked straight in the bin anway.

If the Brit version does include Scramble City and Zone i'll probably pick it up in the sales at some point- If not I'll be sticking with my current copy.
