Aw S**T!!
But, don't they already have a script?
Damn it, delay after delay. Speilberg better step in and do something soon. :glance:

Joke. Noun. A thing said or done to cause laughter. Something not in earnest or ridiculous.

Okay, yeah, another 'fandom franchise' movie gets the usual hoops and hurdles to delay its release. C'mon guys, this actually does more to make me believe this project was real than any other blurb we've had so far.

I still don't believe we'll see a theatrical release yet, though. :P

This does not bode well.

Of all the news I've heard to date thus far, a preference of Mission Impossible 3 over a live action TF movie, well, I just don't understand it.

Not great news, but certainly not unheard of in the industry. The only really bad sign would be if they refuse to push the release date back. Rushing this film to the screen is the worst thing they can do.

from Don's board
Hmm. So, let's get this straight...
Steven and Michael want the current writers. SI
However, their draft of the script is not "finalised".SI
They've moved on to MI3 with Steven's blessing. NOT WITH BLESSING, BUT THAT IS CORRECT
In the meanwhile, the script remains incomplete.SI
... so, again, not yet a script .....

Soooo, is Bay gonna be shown the current version of the script, on the understanding that before final production starts, the writers will finalise it? NO

Will Bay now start working towards production, casting etc on the principle that by the time December, or whenever shooting begins, rolls around, the final script will be perfect? DUNNO

Or is it just gonna mean a delay to the release date down the line? KNEW A FARMER HAD A DOG AND -----
Hope the final product (the movie) will be really so good

Just to add something mine: SI is not spanish for "YES" (like was stated on Don's Board), is the italian word, but off course, it stay for "YES"

Si.

The writers are off the project just at this moment, but clearly it's still on their minds, given the interviews here, here and here.

Lots of news there.

Well, I'll be. My spanish teachers, who taught me in two years of Jr High and three years of high school (the first two years, being spanish 1) were dead wrong. Made even more shameful by the fact that one of them was a native speaker . . .

That is, unless you're quibbling about that stupid little accent mark that can't be made on an english keyboard without some stupid code (I think it was "Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, Start," or something like that) . . .
