Summer's on its way so let's get together for booze

Post by angloconvoy »

Right, time to arrange a meet-up. London again, but not holborn. I'd really like to squeeze in somewhere a bit lively at some point during the night. Mid-July sounds good to me at the min. Either a friday or saturday (or maybe both). So come on, who's up for what and when?

Virtually anytime from now on and any time in July (bar the last week as I'm on hol in sunny sunny spain).

Lively.Road house is great and virtually no dress code in the week.
I know a lively place in Soho called propaganda which is quite cool and cheep, £5 for 3 pints.:smokin:

Ali canta (sp?).

A friends, girl's, parents (who are friends of my mum's friend) has lent us a flat in a villa so its just a plane ticket and alcohol money :D

I believe its near that massive water park. Never been to spain before.I must be in the 1% of Brits who haven't.
At least its south spain anyway, so 90% of the people I meet will actually be from Manchester or Essex

I can probably do something in the summer some time, to be honest July'd be best as I can build up some funds... after that it'll be a bit hit and miss as I'm moving 200 yards down the road.

One day, I'm going to get to one of these things... I might have to bring my girlfriend though unless I can dupe her somehow. No, not like Jamie Madrox...

I hear you. I finish this term on the 16th or 20th of June, dependant upon when me dad can pick me up, so I'm free from then til sometime in July, when I go on holiday someplace. Then, I'm free again til October, when I will be closer, when the second year starts.

You mean she'd actually want to come to "mass gathering of net goons who'll probably spend the time chatting about Transformers whilst hammered" ??

Wow.

Windy, did you guess the spelling o' that little ditty? Surely not.

Anyway, I finish my exams on May 29th, and I'm in Cardiff till our uni ball on the 13th of June. Hopefully I'll be starting work sometime in July, so I'm not sure as to my summer timetable. But I'll try an' make it. It'll be good fun.

Well, I can badly sing the words, but it's been years since I've stood in the school hall with the words on the projector.

Shirley a Transformers fan meetup wouldn't be complete without everyone's favourite bounty hunting mechanoid, yes?

This'll be great if it happens.

Let me know when (roughly) so I can get a bit of time off work to come down. Speaking of which, I have to run the pub tomorrow... damn, thats harsh...
