Rant, Rant, Rant, Grrrrr
OK, so I come back after a night out (4AM), and half way through walking home, my damn lens in my glasses decides to pop out. Fine, so I'll put it in when I get home - no worries. But unfortunately, after an alcohol fueled evening, my coordination is shot to s**t, so I can't do it. Even worse, the tiny little screw falls onto the floor (a grey carpet), so now I've lost it. Maaan I hate glasses. Glasses are the work of the devil, and they want you dead! No, really.
Rant Over.

Oddly enough, I am an optician.
You can either take a needle and thread and sew it back together, or, a paper clip.
Usually the needle and thread works pretty good, Do not use Superglue, it is the worst thing for your glasses.
Go to you local eyeglass shop and ask them to replace it, or take a screw out of an old pair of sunglasses or something to replace it.

Me glad have only one good eye, no glasses in the world ould fix that(bionic eye would be nice though, with zoom, infra red,X-ray and all), people tell me I look sufisticated with glasses but hate when I put their's on.
Glasses do seem like a pain, my both parents have them(my dads resembl Habel, or a good ol' bottle's bottom ).

but it just might help you to understand their world.

I would wait till the morning, then look for the screw, and if the screw isn't magnetic, then he's in for a long look at the carpet

Not a bad idea Kickback. By the way, I was drunk when I wrote that (hence why I bothered to write it at all). I'll probably just head down to SpecSavers later today. Thanks for the help all (instead of accusing me of being a moron).
