I thought the text commentary was exaggerating.

but that really is just about the worst miss I've ever seen.

I actually feel pretty sorry for the big lump. I mean, that could well be it for his international career, Scotland's very own Michael Ricketts...

YouTube no worky well for me right now, but I do know that Ashley Cole's pass for Kazakhstan's goal was one of the most superb balls I've seen played in ages.

Actually, here's a better one -

This one gets bonus points as it was going in anyway until he put the final touch on it. And because he gets a pretty amazing amount of lift on a slow-moving ball - crossbar from about a yard out, most strikers couldn't do that if they tried all day.
