Part 6 in an ongoing series blatantly ripped off from an idea by Hooks of the Allspark.

Last time it was Marvel comics. This thread is about all the things you LOVE about your fellow fans. No flaming. No badmouthing. Just post everything you like about the Transformers fandom in here, be it dedicated individuals (such as Maz) who spent a lot of effort into writing well-reserached articles on particular subjects, people who are always there to answer obscure trivia questions or those with contacts within the industry (including online store owners) who use their contacts to provide advance information to the rest of the fandom.

For the fandom haters, there is a separate thread here, so make sure you only post the positive stuff in this one.

Next up: Beast Machines.

Often times, they come up with some great ideas. In fact, bonus points are awarded when it's marketable enough for Has/Tak to use it.

I like the vast majority of people here. You can find an expert on just about every part of Transformers, weather it's Spregs and the Japanese shows, Cliffy and the comic or Nevermore and the toys there's always someone to answer questions in a smart and witty way. And then you have the loons like HBK who are just enteraining in their own right.

I love http://www.transfans.net and the wonderful people there.

I love the UK fandom because I can attend a convention without seeing a single person walking around with cardboard boxes covering their body claiming to be in costume.

I love that there are some genuinely intelligent and informative people in the fandom who also manage to come across as well adjusted human beings.

I love that slashfic is generally kept to a minimum in this fandom.

I love that everybody hates Dreamwave now. Restores my faith in humanity.

It was the power that drove me insane. The power! And the overabundance of knowledge. I knew everything once, but it overloaded my brain and made me crazy. I was only defeated by my own desire for infodumps, a fanwank Ultra Magnus and a hole that seemingly appeared from nowhere...

Informative posts, for instance the one that mentioned Flint was Marissa Fairborne's father and that the voice actor of Flint was used in the episode where a Quintesson scientist abducted Marissa, Wreck-Gar, Ultra Magnus and Cyclonus. I didn't know that before and posts like that certainly are interesting to read.
