I don't think I've noticed what a fine bust Powerglide has before...

Woo! I've been waiting for Onslaught to come out. As for Powerglide and his Glowing Tits of Doom, PASS.
No longer looking for RID Dreadwind, but I still need Smokejumper. I'm also in need of Mammoth Nemesis Prime's tail piece, as my figure lacks it. Send me a PM.

You gotta love Onslaught if only because he's one of the few toys that directly reference a fan.

The "MONZO 12782" markings are a reference to a fan named Monzo, born on 12-7-82.

I like both molds, I just wish they weren't Ultras. 1) I don't have the cash for them, 2) I'm seriously running out of shelf space.

One of Monzo's hobbies is researching trademark information. And as part of that, he regularly submits a list of currently available trademarks (for names of toys previously used by Hasbro) to Hasbro.

i FINALLY saw 1 of each of powerglide and onslaught. one word: HUGE! i wasn't expecting them to be as big as they were, guess i was under the impression they were voyager sized for some reason.. powerglide is very big. which doesnt make since as his G1 self wouldnt even qualify as a deluxe by todays terms... also dont know why we get non g1 color schemes for some of these guys... more hasbro mischief

The reason for the upgarde and colors is to make him more realistic. Hasbro wants to make the Classic lines as reaslistic as possible. Powerglide may be one of the shortes G1 toyes, but his alt mode should have made him one of the biggest bots around. Scale is always a problem with in fiction and sometimes the toyes.

I want both badly, but I can't find the suckers right now. I have called every store in my town and in Tracy, but no one has them stocked and I will not get an answer when a new shipment will not come in.

I got Onslaught. He is AWESOME! I honestly think his robot mode is the best looking Transformer of all time. Great colors, too. Two minor gripes are that his turret guns are flimsy and, being a bigger toy, he clicks more than I like, but not as much as he could have. His arms don't click. When I think about what a Transformer should look like, it's this guy.

well i deff understand that in RL powerglide would be big.. but they have never seemed to really focus on reality and correct sizes before... deff fits with the TRU ultra planes for a sweet arial battle...
