This is the latest in the Thundercats mini-series (I don't count the cross-over with Battle of the Planets, I never read it - don't intend to either) and is set in the future.
Artwork's nothing short of awesome again, story for this issue leaves a little to be desired, but it's nice to see that there's a running plot through all three mini's there has been so far. This one looks like it could be all out war from iss #2 onwards, here's hoping..

It will indeed be interesting to see how this story pans out...I'm hoping for a mass-scale war...

I like the beard! I do wonder about him as an aged monarch though. It doesn't seem like a roll that they'd keep him in. It's interesting but I think they'll cop-out and de-age him at some point so he can be the young hero again. Here's hoping they don't...
