I'll bite.

My kid was just watching Frozen. Got to the point where Olaf goes "Watch out for my butt!" (you need context, watch the movie :p). Suddenly the little goes "Bah a butt". Now she's dancing around the living room going "A butt, a butt, a butt..."

(or was when I wrote that. Now she's all snuggled up in my lap watching her movie while I internet. Yay offspring.)

That sounds adorable.

I've been home from work for an hour or so, and am fighting the need to nap.

How many daily viewings are you up to? I'm pretty sure I've seen it more than Drive now, and I watched Drive daily for months.

I like Hans, he's a complete prick "Oh Anna, if only someone loved you.." is up there with "in order for our species to survive, it was necessary to make a deal with the Decepticons" for a crowning moment of utter bastardosity.

And I'm pretty sure they knobbed Elsa's castle from Watchmen.

Did try weaning her onto Up only for me to have a complete emotional breakdown ten minutes in.

At this point I don't even know. It's been a part of almost daily life for about a month now, I think? I feel like it's been longer. Still there are worse movies out there, I guess. Have that blue dress ordered off of eBay and a tiara/wand set in the closet for her birthday. She's all set.

Hans is something you didn't really see coming, and I liked that. The first time I watched the movie, though, I thought the entire side story was a little questionable... Trolls started singing about stealing someone's fiancee (after only an evening of knowing each other, which in itself was a "um...", but still) ... "And by the way, I don't see no ring"... my brain went "whaaaaaaaaat..."

The subtle-hint gloves thing annoys me, though. Well, I think people pointing it out annoys me more, actually.

I've tried various things to get her away from it, too. She's far more interested in the Doodlebops than she is Frozen now, but it's still on a daily rotation. And now I need something else to get her away from Doodlebops.

Spring will be here soon, thank goodness.

I went to the job centre and to roller derby today. Only that second activity was fun.

I have been finding the comments on internet porn videos more interesting than the actual videos. "Why do people put the wrong tags on these videos? There's no rimming in this at all" and "Huh, she's done an awful lot of porn for a supposedly innocent hitchhiker, totally ruins the reality of the scene" style stuff.

I like how some porn sites have social media buttons nowadays.

Let's see, aside from working, sleeping, eating and spending time with the family which takes up 90% of my time, I've been trying to play through Final Fantasy V, read the A Song of Fire And Ice series, and watch a bit of Kamen Rider. Oh, and there's two Gundam series currently airing weekly right now too.

FF5 is slow going though, it uses the Job System and I'm trying to master every job so I can blow through the end of the game and destroy the final boss.

I'm on book 4 of A Song of Fire And Ice and this one is kinda boring at the start.

Kamen Rider has been a lot of fun considering it's not something I would normally have given a chance.

Both Gundam shows have been great so far.

I like George R R Martin. Anyone who can get millions of people hooked on a book series and then repeatedly threaten to die by being a fat old bastard is a top troll.

It's one of those things that is only even vaguely moral because it turns out Hans is a bad guy. Y'know, for all anyone knows (including the audience) at that point he's just an impulsive romantic who's quite taken by Anna... But yeh, I don't mind most of it. The Snowman's a little tit, though.

As a visual and audio aid to onanism of course. What do you use them for, weirdo?

I watched the first episode of Game of Thrones and thought it would have been something I'd have really enjoyed had it been on at 1 in the morning on Channel 5 in 1999, perhaps staring Shannon Tweed. In the days of twitter friendly internet porn sites however it takes a lot more than soft core bouncing boobies to get me going and the attempts to shock (inscet!) made it feel as if the whole thing was being made by a 15 year old rather than an old bearded man (though considering the gestation period it could well be Martin was 15 when he started).

I should probably give it another go as from all the praise it gets things must get better after that, but the only thing I really enjoyed was Sean Bean having bought his own costume from Lord of the Rings.

Spoiler alert: It stays that way.

But book 5 is pretty dang awesome so far. I think Grandpa Martin wrote both books at once, and put all the good parts into Dance with Dragons.

I did read a disturbing quote from him stating that plot isn't the only element to a story, nor is it the most important. Translation: "I've got no idea where the story is headed. I'm just chatting about some people I made up."

I know my friend listened to the audiobook version of at least one of the Game of Thrones books. He said it ran for about 33 hours or somesuch.

EDIT: Found it! It's actually almost 34 hours...

Playing Dragon Age: Inquisition on my PS3. I damn good game overall.
There are some problems I have with it however:
The War Table operations in real time this isn't a big thing but a few operations take 4-32 hours (depending on which of the 3 advisors you send and if you gotten more perks with them) and you don't get much out of them other than a update to the codex, a a poor-to-decent weapon, or belt, ring, or an amulet, and little XP. I don't mind most that go 5 minutes to 2 hours at worse I can kill time running out Haven or Skyhold crafting weapons, armor, runes, mixing potions, or go shopping at worse I can turn the console off and go watch a movie, surf the net, or something. I hate those 4-32 hours, and the only way to get around them is to reset the clock on the console (which is a major pain on Xbox 360) or PC.

The multi-media extra lore that is in the game is massive. Going into this game if you really want to understand all of the details of what is going on: you have to play 2 games with all of the major DLC, read 5 novels, 3 graphic novels, an artbook, watch an anime movie and a low budget live action web series, and use a website to create a world state based on all that. For the most part the game's writers do a great job of making sure you get the gist of the novels, previous games, and the anime's plots without boring you to death.

The villain is lame. BioWare generally has great complex villains that have understandable and believable motivations, the villain here is a moronic idiot who goal is to become a god. So it's basically a one-dimensional cartoon supervillain with inept henchmen that make the Decepticons in the Sunbow cartoon show like they knew what they doing.

The MP is not as much fun as ME3's MP (which surprised me how much fun I had playing the MP on ME3 and I hate MP modes in video games).

I also got through binge watching Farscape which is one of most fun, original, and IMHO underrated sci-fi shows of all time. I would say the lead character of John Crichton is the most relatable and believable sci-fi heroes of all time. Aeryn Sun is the most badass woman in sci-fi with an arc that actually surpasses any the women on BSG and the villain Scorpius is one of the frightening villains and is right up there with Kahn and Darth Vader. Great special effects, aliens, make-ups, the CGI still holds up pretty well. The series is on DVD, Blu-Ray, and Amazon Instant Video, and it's mini-series conclusion The Peacekeeper Wars is on DVD. If you haven't seen it check it out.
