Wonder what toy store is going to replace them in Boston. There's literally no other major toy store. You have to go to the suburbs to find one. Come to think of it, the only major toy store in Massachusetts that I can name is Toys R Us. They're not much better. Their selection tends to suck, they seem to get everything last, and they never do get the good deals, like the GI v Cobra value packs that had two two-packs in them.

I still go into KB to look for TFs despite the prices, but rarely end up buying anything... just today I found they drudged up some earlier Armada minicons, and I thought "Oh boy, Space Team at clearance prices"... turns out they were US $8.99
I'm not surprised they're following in FAO's steps...

Hang on to your ego.

I think its another ploy..... Right after K-Mart Declared Bankruptcy they close 100 sotres in the shouth east..most of which had other k-marts within 10 miles.. And of course everyone flocked to the stores thinking CLEARENCE!! but they didnt find much..two week no real restocking..and next thing you now they have most TF's before Wal*Mart now..and they seem to be making a slow comeback..

That's exactly what it is, few businesses file for bankruptcy and just go out of business like that. They file and then use the protection granted to rebuild and recoup.

If KB charged decent prices I might have considered giving them more of my money, but I can't justify paying $15 for Demolishor when I can have him for $10 at the Target next door. I only bought TFs from KB if they were exclusive or if I just couldn't find them anywhere else because the prices were terrible.
